The technical support ministry of The Church Point Pentecostals works to ensure proper atmosphere and enhancement of every service. This ministry also works to duplicate every service by way of CD and DVD, for those who could not be in attendance. This ministry consists of Audio Services, Lighting, Information Center Coordination, Technical Support, Media Specialist, and Video Services.

Audio Services:

The audio services division not only enhances audio levels of the spoken word, music, and lyric, but also amplifies the audio levels to create an atmoshpere that stimulates the audience to worship. This division also records worship services and special events for distribution and documentation purposes.

Lighting:

Setting the proper atmosphere and focusing attention on the speaker or main subject, the Lighting division provides appropriate lighting that ranges from "mood" lighting for prayer meetings to "intelligent" computerized lighting for special events.

Information Center Coordinator:

The Info Center Coordinator is the liaison for support during worship services. Members of this team communicate with the Media Specialist, Audio Services, Lighting, Video Divisions, and Pastoral Staff to keep the service running fluidly and seamlessly by informing all Technical Support divisions of changes from the service agenda during a worship service. This team also provides hospitality to primaries and specialty guests on the platform, as well as guest greeting and follow up.

Media Specialists:

Media operators enhance the visual experience of all live events, from Sunday services to concerts by providing visual support on projection screen. This team provides support with scripture projection, video presentation, teleprompting for the platform, cueing for the offering, Powerpoint presentations, announcements, projection of lyrics, and image magnification supplied from the video department feed.

Video Services:

The Video division uses video technology to evangelize, instruct, and document the worship services and special events. A top priority of the Video division is the recording of worship services and specialized events. Worship services are available in DVD format only.

Mission:

The Technology Ministry will continue to strive to stretch and grow with available technology and find ways to acquire and incorporate new technology into The Church Point Pentecostals. As the church continues toward the 20/20 vision, the roles of the Technical Support Team will become more important.
